Your Gift of Land or Bequest of Property leaves a tangible, natural heritage and an echo of your personal connection to the land for years and generations to come.

Your donation of land can be arranged to:

  • Make a direct gift of land now
  • Allow you life use to continue to live on the land
  • Provide substantial income tax deductions and estate tax benefits while avoiding capital gains taxes that would have resulted from selling the property.
  • Transfer property management responsibility to The Bridgewater Land Trust or alternately,

designate Bridgewater Land Trust in your will if you want to own and manage your land during your lifetime, but be certain it will be cared for in perpetuity after your passing.

*Please contact us if you’d like to discuss naming Bridgewater Land Trust in your will and estate plans as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, charitable remainder trust and/or a qualified pension plan, IRA, Keogh, 401(k) or 403(b).

Our organization is equipped to guide you in gifting land in the way that suits best for you. We’re grateful you’d consider this gift of land to memorialize your footprints in nature, and we’re here to help.
